6. Ordering Process
- Browse and select your desired Products.
- Add items to your cart and proceed to checkout.
- Enter accurate delivery and contact details.
- Submit your order request.
- Receive an email with our banking details and your unique order number.
- Make payment via EFT using your order number as reference.
- Email proof of payment to us.
- You will receive an order confirmation email once payment is verified.
All Orders are subject to availability. If a Product is unavailable, we'll contact you to arrange a replacement, store credit, or refund.
7. Payment Terms
7.1 Payment Method
We accept payment via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) only. Upon placing an order, you will receive:
- An order confirmation with our banking details
- Your unique order number to use as payment reference
- Instructions for completing your EFT payment
7.2 Payment Verification
⚠️ Important: Payment Confirmation Required
No orders will be processed or honored without verified payment. Your order will only be confirmed once we have received and verified the funds in our bank account.
7.3 Proof of Payment
After making your EFT payment, please:
- Email your proof of payment to orders@adelecater.co.za
- Include your order number in the subject line
- Use your order number as the payment reference
We will confirm your order via email once payment has been verified (typically within 2 business hours during office hours).
7.4 Payment Timeline
Payment must be received at least 24 hours before your scheduled delivery date. Orders without verified payment by this deadline will be automatically canceled.
8. Delivery Terms
8.1 Delivery Areas and Fees
Deliveries are offered within the following zones:
- Free delivery: within 7 km of our kitchen.
- R55 fee: between 7–15 km.
- R100 fee: between 15–25 km.
- Beyond 25 km: Please contact us for a custom quote.
8.2 Minimum Order Quantity
8.3 Delivery Windows and Conditions
Estimated delivery windows are shown at checkout. We aim to deliver on time, but factors such as traffic, weather, or load-shedding may cause delays.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that someone is available to receive the order at the specified address. If no one is available, a redelivery fee may apply.
We are not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect information or lack of recipient availability.
9. Cancellation, Refunds, and Returns
9.1 Cancellations
Orders may be canceled up to 24 hours before the scheduled delivery time. After that, preparation may have begun and cancellation may not be possible.
9.2 Refunds
Refunds are issued within 7 business days for eligible cases, including payment errors, unavailable stock, or valid cancellations. Refunds are processed to the original payment method only.
9.3 Returns
Due to the perishable nature of our food, we cannot accept returns unless the Products were delivered damaged, spoiled, or incorrect. Customers must report issues within 2 hours of delivery and provide photos for verification.
This policy complies with the Consumer Protection Act.
10. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate contact and delivery information.
- Ensure availability at the delivery location during the delivery window.
- Properly store or refrigerate meals after delivery to maintain quality and safety.
We are not responsible for spoilage or damage after delivery if storage instructions are not followed.
11. Data Protection and Privacy
We respect and protect your personal information in accordance with POPIA. Your data is collected only for processing orders, delivering Products, and improving our services.
- All personal and payment data is securely encrypted.
- We only share necessary details with payment processors and delivery partners.
- You have the right to request access, correction, or deletion of your data.
- Cookies may be used to improve user experience and analyze traffic.

12. Intellectual Property Rights
All Website content, including text, images, graphics, and layout, remains the intellectual property of Adelé's Catering or its licensors. No part may be copied or reproduced without written consent.
13. Limitation of Liability
While we strive for accuracy and reliability, we are not liable for:

- Delivery delays or service interruptions beyond our control.
